Thanya Leelaratne
Finance Manager
As a member of Patamar Capital’s Operations team, Thanya supports the Finance function of the firm as Finance Manager. Prior to joining Patamar, she spent 13 years at MAS Intimates, a leading apparel manufacturer with a global footprint, where she progressed through several finance roles.
During her tenure, she gained extensive experience in management accounting, process improvement, and financial reporting, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. Thanya began her career as a Management Trainee at Goodhope Asia Holdings Ltd, where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and corporate finance.
Thanya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) with First Class Honours from the University of Colombo and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK) and an Associate Member of CPA Australia (ASA). Thanya has also completed Level 1 of the CFA Program, further demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional growth.
Outside of work, she has a keen interest in advancing business excellence and sustainability through finance-led innovation.
