Patamar Capital started as a venture capital firm with a bold vision: to drive financial inclusion in emerging markets. The genesis of Patamar goes back two decades when a group of finance and tech entrepreneurs founded Unitus Inc. to address global poverty through market-based solutions. Led by venture capitalist Geoff Woolley, a pioneer in venture debt, the group aimed to empower the working poor. Our mission remains – to scale high-impact solutions that address global challenges and drive long-term impact in underserved communities worldwide, while providing our investors with market rate returns.
Over the years, we’ve grown into a dynamic platform, launching catalytic financial products across asset classes and geographies. We have established six distinctive funds, including equity, venture debt, and gender lens-focused products. Through these endeavours, we have proudly invested in over 50 companies, directly impacting the lives of more than 15 million individuals.
